Memphis shooting suspect Mavis Christian Jr found dead after three women and girl, 13, killed in gun rampage | The Sun

A MAN accused of killing three women and a 13-year-old girl has been found dead by cops following a intense manhunt in Tennessee.

Officers are said to have found suspect shooter Mavis Christian Jr dead inside a white Chevrolet Malibu, suffering from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Cops had been on the hunt for the 52-year-old after three women and a 13-year-old girl were killed during a gun rampage in Memphis.

The suspect was “armed and extremely dangerous,” police said.

A shooting spree had taken place across the Tennessee town on Saturday.

Christian Jr was accused of brutally killing two young girls, two women and critically injuring another female in three separate attacks.

The wounded victim was transported to Regional One Health hospital for treatment.

Police investigating the death of a woman at around 9.30pm on Howard Drive connected the killing to two other fatal shootings that “involve the same suspect", CNN reports.

They then identified Christian Jr as the suspect in all three shootings and said he fled each scene in a white 2017 Chevrolet Malibu.

Authorities added the attacks have been described as domestic violence and that Christian was a relative of the victims.
