8-year-old wounded in Harlem shooting was trick-or-treating: sources

The 8-year-old bystander wounded by a gunman outside a Harlem supermarket on Saturday night was trick-or-treating, police sources said.

The child was hit in the right knee after a verbal altercation between two men turned violent shortly after 7 p.m. outside the Fine Fare at 130 Lenox Ave., police said.

Her 39-year-old father and a 33-year-old woman were also injured by the gunfire, NYPD said — both in their right arms.

The father and daughter walked to nearby NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem for treatment.

All three victims were listed in stable condition.

Surveillance footage of the scene showed two men in their twenties firing several rounds of gunfire at each other after a verbal disagreement escalated.

Neither alleged gunman has been apprehended. Police said one of the men was last seen wearing a green and black jacket.

The other was last seen in a dark baseball cap and all-dark clothing, cops said.
