When is Holly Willoughby returning to This Morning?

For the second day in a row, Holly Willoughby is absent from This Morning, with her co-host Phillip Schofield presenting the show alongside stand-ins Alison Hammond and Davina McCall.

On Wednesday 18 November, viewers of ITV’s This Morning were surprised to learn that Alison had joined Phillip on the show, instead of Holly.

At the beginning of the show, Alison addressed Holly’s absence, stating: ‘Hello and welcome to your midweek this morning with me Alison Hammond, who’s standing in for Holly, who’s having a well-deserved day off today.’

However, while viewers may have expected Holly to return to the show the following day, on Thursday she was replaced yet again by fellow presenter Davina McCall.

This time, it was Phillip who stated that his usual co-presenter was having a day off.

So when is Holly returning to the show?

When will Holly Willoughby return to This Morning?

On Thursday morning’s show, Phillip said that it won’t be long before Holly makes her way back to morning TV after a few days off.

‘Holly’s having a day off, so she’ll be back on Monday,’ he said.

Why is Holly Willoughby missing from This Morning this week?

There has been no word as to why Holly hasn’t been present on This Morning for a couple of days this week, other than Alison and Phillip stating that she is having a day off.

Holly last posted on Instagram on Tuesday 17 November, sharing a picture of herself next to a beautiful Christmas door display.

When contacted by Metro.co.uk for comment, ITV pointed towards Phillip’s statement about Holly’s return on Monday.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
