Spoilers: Sinister drugs boss Victor cast in Hollyoaks' county lines story

The eponymous village of Hollyoaks is going to get a whole lot darker in the coming episodes, as drugs boss Victor (Benjamin O’Mahoney) arrives, and he’s set to bring with him much more danger for the young people of Chester.

Jordan Price’s (Connor Calland) arrival in the not-so-sleepy little village brought with it an uneasiness, as he set about making the settlement his new drug dealing empire.

This far, he’s groomed Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw) and Sid Sumner (Billy Price) into doing his illegal bidding, but viewers will soon be introduced to the man at the top of the hierarchy in the coming episodes, as Victor shows up.

Speaking about what Victor’s arrival with bring with it for Jordan, actor Connor Calland said: ‘t’s going to be seen on screen how the hierarchy works. The audience will get to understand why Jordan is the way he is. You’ll see that he’s not the nastiest person in the village anymore…’

Actor Benjamin O’Mahoney joins the cast as sinister Victor, and speaking about his character, Benjamin said: ‘Victor is (arguably) a sociopath, who is willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants – comfortable with manipulating and exploiting vulnerable children to build himself the empire he thinks he deserves.’

‘I would argue that Victor sees himself as an efficient businessman working within a violent industry, but there is also another side to him that is addicted to the power and loves to see the fear in people’s eyes.’

speaking about joining Hollyoaks, Benjamin enthused: ‘Getting cast as Victor was brilliant. My agent called one afternoon and said that Hollyoaks were interested in seeing me about a county lines storyline.’

‘If I’m honest I didn’t really know what county lines were, but the part sounded too juicy to pass up. I got the call that I’d got the job a few days after auditioning and I was over the moon!’
