Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) has been through a lot in EastEnders, but it seems as if there’s horror ahead for her once more, as the BBC One soap has confirmed a dark new storyline for the character.
Honey made a return to screens last month upon the serial drama’s comeback following the Covid-19 shutdown.
Prior to this, the character was last seen deciding to take some time away from Walford — a story which allowed actress Emma to take part in Strictly Come Dancing’s live tour earlier this year.
Since the soap’s return, Honey has primarily been seen in the Minute Mart, and we saw her attempting to support Billy (Perry Fenwick) last week in regards to his relationship with Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley).
Next week, Honey and Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) deliver a food parcel to number 89.
A man named Paul answers, and he flirts with Honey, before giving her his number. Honey remains oblivious to his advances, but Jay tells her to ask him on a date.
There is little information known about what transpires next, but new spoilers have indicated that Honey’s date won’t go exactly as planned.
A brief synopsis for the episode which will air on October 29, 2020 says: ‘Honey’s date takes a terrifying turn.’
Will Honey be okay?
What exactly happens on this date?
EastEnders continues Friday October 16 at 8:35pm on BBC One.
