Former Love Island contestant Shaughna Phillips has come forward with her predictions on which of this year’s couples will end up splitting or staying together.
In her final Love Island column for OK magazine, Shaughna spoke about this series’ finalists and what makes or breaks a post-villa romance.
She explained that she was happy that Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti won, but was surprised with the order of the final.

She said: “I must admit I was expecting Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page to come second. I thought Gemma Owen and Luca Bish may have come third.
“I wasn’t that surprised by Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, as I think Dami’s Casa Amor antics ruined their chances.”
She then went on to say that she didn’t see any of the couples staying together for long, now that the show has finished, but couldn’t say who would be the first to break up.
On the topic of Love Island relationships on the outside world, Shaughna clarified that there is no contract in place where couples have to stay together, saying “I think that would be against human rights!”
She also suggested that romances crumble when reality sets in, saying: “So many couples from the show end up splitting because things are very different on the outside.

“If you’re not from the same area, it’s difficult to see each other as you’re so busy with work and it can be hard to make it work.
“Saying that, out of all of them, I can imagine Ekin-Su moving to Manchester with Davide.”
She went on the suggest that Ekin-Su and Davide would end up doing “really well” saying: “I think Ekin-Su and Davide will do really well as a couple in terms of being successful.
“I can see them having their own show, and I can imagine them doing something similar to Gordon, Gino and Fred's Road Trip, as they are both TV gold.”
