1. Sally's rift with Maria intensifies
After being confronted by Sally (Sally Dynevor), Tim collapses while clutching his chest, coming clean to her about his heart condition.
Joe Duttine's character is then readied for his triple bypass surgery and begs Kevin to tell Sally how sorry he is and how much he loves her.
But while the anaesthetic takes effect, a frail Tim hears commotion in the hospital corridor as his wife is arrested by a police officer.
Tim wakes up from his surgery with vague memories of Sally being hauled away and believes it must have been a dream.
Later on, when Tim gets a visit from Sally and his daughter Faye following his operation, the latter speculates that another candidate at the local council election could be trying to scupper Sally's chances with a damaging article in the Weatherfield Gazette.
Sally reckons Faye is right and is quick to accuse Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) of foul play.
Will Sally retaliate?

2. Tim's mother moves in
Meanwhile, Tim is recovering from his operation, feeling Sally is neglecting him in favour of her political ambitions.
When Sally promises her focus will remain on him, Tim is sceptical.
In a loving gesture, Sally blows up balloons in preparation for Tim's 50th birthday and is adamant on throwing him a part.
However, Tim's mother Elaine (Paula Wilcox) is disapproving and believes her son should get all the rest he needs.
With Tim due back home the following day, Elaine offers to move in with the couple in order to help look after him.
While Tim is delighted by the idea, Sally grimaces, clearly far from impressed.
Will Elaine and Sally butt heads once again?
3. Daisy defends Daniel
After sharing a kiss on Christmas Eve, Daniel (Rob Mallard) and Lydia (Rebecca Ryan) are exploring their romantic potential.
But when Lydia congratulates Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) for her protest against sexual harassment, the teenager makes a comment about how both she and Daniel overturned their suspensions from school.
The newcomer finds out about Daniel being falsely accused of having an inappropriate relationship with Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby).
This prompts doubts about her budding relationship with the teacher.
Later on, Lydia is talking about her worries to Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien).
Overhearing their conversation, Daisy (Charlotte Jordan) jumps in and assures Lydia that Daniel is a good and reliable man.
When Sarah recounts the event to Daniel, he is taken aback but thanks Daisy for singing his praises.
He is stunned when Daisy, with whom he shared a brief relationship before being romantically involved with Lydia, suggests they should go out for a drink together.
Lydia walks in and can't help but notice their palpable chemistry.
4. Carla scolds Jenny
Carla (Alison King) is far from impressed with Jenny's (Sally Ann Matthews) relationship with Leo and is not afraid to show it.
With the death of her father Johnny still fresh in her mind, she reminds Jenny that she promised Kate a share of her late (and estranged) husband's money.
Carla doesn't hold any of her punches as she also accused the Rovers' landlady of abandoning her family in favour of Leo (Joe Frost).
A little while later, Carla calls in the Rovers and thanks Jenny for keeping her word about Kate’s money.
She doesn't stop there, however, as she tells Jenny that her relationship with toyboy Leo is inappropriate, so soon after Johnny's death.
Speaking of Jenny and Leo…
5. Jenny and Leo get serious
Tim won't be the only Coronation Street character to have health issues.
Jenny is mortified when she gets a call that Leo has been injured while playing rugby.
Shocked, she rushes to A&E to visit him.
But upon arrival, Jenny gets another big shock.
Soon after, Jenny brings Leo home and helps carry his bags in.
A bewildered Daisy finds out that Leo will be moving in.
Is Jenny finally ready to commit to the young man?
6. Bernie is arrested over Joseph's disappearance
Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) is in big trouble following Joseph's disappearance and safe return home.
When Fiz stumbles upon her daughter Hope's giant sweet stash, Bernie warns the young girl to stay away from her cousin Joseph and keep quiet about her deal with Clint Stubbins.
During a family dinner in Speed Daal, organised alongside Dev, Bernie is worried about her secret being revealed.
This prompts her to tell Joseph to keep schtum and not spend the £100 he was given, unless he wants them all to get into trouble.
Bernie then slips Joseph the video game he desperately wanted, making him promise to keep it a secret.
But a suspicious Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) finds the video game and accuses Joseph of stealing it.
In her step-grandson's defence, Bernie admits she bought it with her pay rise from Dev.
However, Elaine doesn't buy any of it and proceeds to call the police.
Accused of faking the whole thing in order to get her hands on the £30,000 reward, Bernie is arrested alongside Chesney Brown (Sam Aston).
