Married At First Sight expert Mel Schilling wows fans as she flashes abs in gym gear

Married At First Sight expert Melanie Schilling looked incredible as she showed off her gym-honed physique in a stunning new snap.

The 51-year-old flaunted her progress in the gym as she posed wearing a flattering all-black sports bra and leggings with a denim blue cap.

The Australian TV star appeared to be lapping up some sunshine as she posed for the post-workout selfie on her balcony.

Mel uploaded the picture with the caption: "Taking care of yourself is not selfish. It's a necessity. Embrace self-care, feel amazing in your own skin."

The author, TV presenter, and coach found fame as a relationship expert on the popular Channel 4 show Married at First Sight, where she helps pick strangers to wed based on their personality traits.

The couples are then entered into an arranged marriage where they tie the knot without ever meeting.

Mel is known for dishing out no-nonsense advice to the couples alongside the show's other experts Paul C. Brunson and Charlene Douglas.

She first made an appearance on the Aussie edition of the hit show in 2016 before also joining the UK version last year.

When she's not found match-making, the blonde bombshell is spending time with her husband Gareth and adorable daughter Maddie, seven.

She tied the knot with Gareth, who runs an online betting business, in 2020 after they met around a decade ago. The family relocated to Brighton last year so Mel could film for MAFS UK.

Mel previously opened up about finding love later in life, revealing she met Gareth on a dating site and he turned her 'world upside down.'

She told OK! last year: "I was single for my entire thirties. I wasn't interested in anyone. I was busy traveling the world and working overseas.

"I was all about building my business and just living a great life. 'We were both nearly 40 when we met, and he just turned my world upside down. I was not expecting that!

"We met on eharmony. He's from Whitehead in Northern Ireland, but he was living in Adelaide, and I was in Melbourne."

The pair went on to have a long-distance relationship, with Mel explaining: "We did long distance for six weeks, which was really pivotal in the success of our relationship because we didn't physically meet for those six weeks, but we were communicating every day. And it was mostly email and text – I couldn't talk to him on the phone at first because I couldn't understand his accent!'"
