Lorraine viewers were eagerly listening in to Dr Amir before he was pulled off camera over an awkward blunder while he was chatting to Christine Lampard.
Christine, who is currently hosting Lorraine, was chatting to Dr Amir when he suddenly disappeared off-screen and his camera was replaced with a faceless icon.
He could be heard talking still, but viewers could no longer see his face and were baffled as he seemingly disappeared, but he quickly shouted that his mum was trying to call him.
While his mum was trying to get through on the phone it meant his camera would no longer work to allow him the opportunity to answer – and as the show descended into chaos, viewers were left in hysterics.
Christine seemed extremely happy to hear that "Mama Khan" was on the phone as she cheered, and it appears fans of the show agreed.
Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: "Mama Khan needs to come on TV with you!"
Another user wrote: "Absolutely love watching Dr Amir Khan on Lorraine with Christine, so funny, fab start to my day. Love mama Khan calling."
Fellow TV presenter Ria Hebden was also left in hysterics as she wrote: "Love that Mama Khan is trying to Skype Dr Amir live on Lorraine while he's trying to chat to Christine. That's mums for you!"
While viewers were left in hysterics fans were recognising that they love it when both Christine and Dr Amir appear on the TV together, which is currently taking place due to Lorraine's time off from the show.
Christine will be presenting Lorraine for four weeks over the summer while Lorraine Kelly is taking some time off during the holidays.
Viewers have been happy seeing Christine return to the show as the beauty often takes over segments during school holidays, and her stunning outfit snaps have returned.
At the end of last week Christine shared a stunning snap of herself with the caption: "Loved my first week back on Lorraine, thanks for all your lovely messages! Here's to the weekend."
Her followers were quick to fawn over her as they shared their support for the TV presenter during her short stint to appear on the show.
Christine will continue for the next few weeks prior to Lorraine's return as the summer holidays come to an end in September.
Lorraine returns on ITV at 9am tomorrow.
