Line of Duty star Vicky McClure has been spotted out in public for the first time since fans noticed her name was missing from Sunday's episode cast list.
The 37-year-old actress, who played DI Kate Fleming in the BBC drama since series one, popped to a convenience store on Monday afternoon.
She looked completely different to her AC-12 alter-ego wearing blonde highlights in her cropped dark hair.
Vicky opted for a relaxed look of a black sweatshirt and a pair of light blue denim jeans for her trip to the corner shop.
She wore a patterned face covering and a pair of glasses on her face.
The latest episode of Line of Duty closed on Sunday night with Vicky's character Kate and OCG member PC Ryan Pilkington (Gregory Piper) pointing guns at each other threatening to pull the trigger.
Fans were left on the edge of the seats fearing that DI Fleming been killed after gunshots were heard just before the credits.
Fleming was lured to a lorry park by her boss Jo Davidson (Kelly Macdonald) and ended up in a stand-off with evil Pilkington.
As the pair screamed "drop the gun" at each other, the audience heard two shots – but it was unclear who had fired first or whether either had been hit.
Following the dramatic cliffhanger, fans have been hunting high and low to find evidence of Kate's fate in the next instalment.
Many were left gobsmacked when they discovered that Vicky's name was missing from the cast list of episode six.
Actress Kelly McDonald and actor Gregory Piper, who play Davidson and Pilkington retrospectively, names are also absent from the list.
The synopsis for episode six reads "As AC-12 struggle to deal with repercussions of tragic events, Hastings makes one final bid to uncover institutional corruption before his time runs out".
Viewers have been agonising over the possibility one of the main trio of anti-corruption officers – Kate, Steve Arnott and Supt Ted Hastings – would die after creator Jed Mercurio stressed nobody was safe.
Vicky recently teased her fate on the show speaking on a podcast with former co-star Craig Parkinson, who played corrupt officer Dot Cottan.
She said: "Well every episode is terrifying and Jed is always there to serve the story – it is exactly what happened with Dot.
"Dot’s time came when it was right to serve the story and that is what Jed will always do.
"I don’t want to put everything out there but Jed serves the story."
However, eagle-eyed fans have spotted a yet-to-be-aired interrogation scene which suggests that Kate survives for at least one more episode.
The scene in question shows Vicky dressed in a blue long-sleeved top which she shared on social media in September by Mercurio himself.

So far Kate has not been involved in any such scene alongside Hastings as she has transferred to the Murder Investigation Unit.
One fan said: "She will live! We haven’t seen this scene yet."
Viewers must now wait until next Sunday’s penultimate episode of drama to discover whether Kate has survived.
