JESY Nelson's boyfriend Sean Sagar has broken his silence for the first time since she quit Little Mix.
The Our Girl actor, 30, shared a video of US TV presenter Steve Harvey talking about finding success by learning from failure.
"You don't succeed more than you fail, that's not how it works," Steve is heard saying.
"Do you know why? Because failure is a wonderful teacher.
"It's the only way to learn, you have to fail.
"Failure's part of the process to becoming successful."
Little Mix will continue as a trio with Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall following Jesy deciding to quit the band.
The 29-year-old bravely revealed her decision to step away from the limelight came after nine years in the group had begun to take "a toll on her mental health".
Jesy’s distance from the group had been apparent for several months before her statement on Monday that she was leaving the 2011 X Factor winners.
She said she quit to do “things that make me happy” in her message on Instagram.
The Little Mix star struck up a romance with Sean this year after the singer's long-term relationship with Love Island's Chris Hughes ended in April.
Their relationship began during lockdown, with the pair seen enjoying drinks together at a bar in East London in July.
Sean, 30, has made a number of TV appearances and most will recognise him from BBC One’s Our Girl, where he starred alongside Michelle Keegan playing Private Jaiden “Monk” Montgomery.
