Good Morning Britain star Andi Peters hosted another "Wake Up A Winner" competition segment on Friday's show, traipsing through Stockport to pick a champion.
He knocked on the door of copier engineer Damon, who had entered the ITV competition the previous morning.
Damon looked a little shaken to see Andi at his door, as the TV personality thrust a bunch of flowers in his direction and declared him a winner.
On top of the bunch of blooms, Damon received £3,000 from ITV, which will be sent to him via bank transfer.
Andi asked whether he expected to see him at his door, as Damon replied: "No."
When asked whether he entered ITV competitions frequently, Damon said: "Most of them, yeah."
"You've won!" Andi exclaimed and suddenly realised why Damon seemed less than enthusiastic.
"You're in a state of shock aren't you?" Andi asked, getting to the bottom of the lacklustre reaction.
Meanwhile, watching from home, viewers – many of whom likely entered the competition themselves – were disappointed by Damon's "underwhelming" reaction.
One Twitter user wrote: "Underwhelmed! #gmb"
"Well…didn't he look excited at winning 3k…," sarcastically added a second.
"David doesn't look in the slightest bit shocked or surprised," quipped a third, and a fourth weighed in: "Over the moon isn't he?"
When asked how he planned to spend the money, Damon revealed he had a holiday booked in Dorset where he'd splash the cash.
Anticipating a "nice good break" he promised to use the £3,000 "on our holiday".
Watching the giveaway play out in the studio, Adil Ray exclaimed: "This is getting incredible. I love these moments."

"He looks shocked," Kate Garraway remarked, before gesturing to the bunch of flowers.
She quipped: "He’s thinking I don’t have a vase big enough!"
Andi has been hosting Wake Up A Winner every morning this week, and it hasn't been without its mishaps.
Wednesday's show saw a man open the door without his top on, before closing it again in Andi's face.
Thankfully, the door later reopened, and the actual winner – a woman named Elaine – appeared in her dressing gown.
Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays at 6am on ITV.
