Spoilers for EastEnders reveal both Suki (Balvinder Sopal) and Ravi (Aaron Thiara) fall under suspicion for Ranveer’s murder while Jay struggles to cope with Lola's diagnosis.
Secrets and lies are at the forefront for the Panesars this week as Suki is ignoring Eve (Heather Peace) and as she berates Ravi for his fight with Kheerat (Jaz Deol) he reveals Nina has reported Ranveer missing.
Thinking that Nish (Navin Chowdhry) has won all the kids over, Suki is shocked when Kheerat tells her the family knows the true reason he was in prison. As their conversation gets heated, Suki reveals the truth to her son. Later Eve is surprised to find Suki at her door, while Kheerat watches from afar.
Suki meets with Nish and they connect over the loss of Jags. Meanwhile, Nina (Hersha Verity) and Ravi worry that Suki may confess and ruin their plans to steal Ranveer’s money. They are interrupted by the police who reveal that a body they believe to be Ranveer’s has been found. Nina frets to Ravi about becoming a suspect in his murder.
Suki later receives a message from the police wanting to speak to her about Ranveer's demise. At the station she manages to hold herself together under questioning while Eve wonders if she is really the murderer.
The doctor explains the brain tumour operation to a hopeful Lola (Danielle Harold) – as Jay (Jamie Borthwick) struggles to cope. Ben (Max Bowden), Mitch, and Harvey step in to help him at the funeral parlour so he can be with her. He tries to remain strong for her when he visits, but she sees through him and they share loving moment before she’s taken to theatre. Jay refuses to go home as he and Billy wait for the surgery to end. Will she come through it?
Jean (Gillian Wright) is jealous of Rocky (Brian Conley), Mitch (Roger Griffiths) and Harvey (Ross Boatman) discussing Sophia, his dating app match and she tries to deny her feelings for him.
Linda (Kellie Bright) mopes to Alfie (Shane Richie) that she doesn’t want to celebrate Halloween this year due to memories with Mick, and is frustrated when he goes ahead and organises an event in The Vic.
Kat (Jessie Wallace) is angry to find out Alfie has bunked-off school with the boys and refuses to let him have them over the weekend. He later makes positive strives forward with her. However, he disappoints her yet again when he gets stuck on the roof of The Vic and can’t pick up Tommy. Linda tries to explain to Kat that it’s her fault. But will Kat listen?
Mick (Danny Dyer) and Janine (Charlie Brooks) return from holiday and Mick is disappointed to find Alfie has been helping out at The Vic.
Later, Linda and Mick connect as he discusses his time away and they almost share a moment.
