BBC EastEnders fans heartbroken as dying Lola Pearce makes devastating decision | The Sun

EASTENDERS viewers were left in tears as Lola Pearce made a heart-breaking decision amid her looming death.

Fans of the BBC One soap have been watching the show with baited breath in recent weeks as Lola, played by Danielle Harold, continues to go through the motions as she deals with her tragic cancer battle.

During Wednesday's edition of the programme, Lola was forced to quit her beloved job at the hair salon as her deteriorating health took over.

Her brain tumour has begun to slow her down and despite aiming to remain positive, she felt it was the right decision to walk away from her job in order to cherish her last moments.

Although desperate to continue, she confided in Denise Fox that she could no longer do what was required of her and therefore was left with no option but to quit for good.

Denise reassured the young mother and told her that she would be by her side during her final few weeks of living on Albert Square.
