Are Mick and Linda selling The Queen Vic and leaving EastEnders?

Mick (Danny Dyer) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) have weathered a pretty rough patch recently on EastEnders, what with Linda finally coming to admit her alcohol problem.

For a long time, Linda denied that there was anything wrong, but Mick has been left very proud of his wife as she’s faced up to her issues with drink and begun going to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

However Linda turning over a new leaf has led to the couple making a huge decision about their future as landlord and lady…

Are Mick and Linda selling the Vic?

Mick has proven time and time again that he’ll do whatever it takes for Linda, and since she’s agreed to get help for her alcoholism, Mick has decided to sell the Vic so that Linda doesn’t have to live surrounded by her vice.

Even though Linda has had her reservations about the decision, Mick has been determined to help his wife through her recovery and is convinced that this is the way to do it.

In scenes tonight, their secret will get out to the wider population of Walford, which will make the whole thing feel rather final.

An estate agent has even valued the pub, and Mick has revealed these plans of theirs to Billy.

Could Mick and Linda really bring themselves to give up on their lifelong dream? And if so, could this mean the end of Mick and Linda’s time in Walford?

We’ve not heard any confirmation that Danny Dyer or Kellie Bright are leaving EastEnders, but this is soapland after all, and anything is possible…
