Peter Phillips had a dazzling night at King Charles' Coronation Concert and he wasn't alone.
The son of Princess Anne was accompanied by his girlfriend, Lindsay Wallace, who he's been dating for two years.
The duo sat in the second row of the royal box, making a picture-perfect scene alongside Peter's daughters Savannah, 12, and Isla, 10, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Autumn Kelly.
Peter and Autumn, who were married for 13 years, announced their split in 2021 and last year Peter confirmed his romance with Lindsay Wallace.
In a statement at the time of the split, they said: "Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost. Both Peter and Autumn are pleased to have resolved matters amicably with the children firmly at the forefront of those thoughts and decisions."
They added: "Peter & Autumn have requested privacy and consideration for their children as the family adapts to a new chapter in their lives."
Lindsay, the daughter of an oil tycoon, has been previously married and has two children. But fate brought her together with Peter Phillips, the Queen's grandson, thanks to none other than his sister Zara.
Peter, who isn't a working royal and runs a sports management company, and Lindsay kept their romance under wraps at first.
But after his divorce was finalized, the couple made their public debut at the Epsom Derby, cheering on the horses from the royal box with Peter's mom, Princess Anne.
Peter and Lindsay also attended the Platinum Party at the Palace concert and the Platinum Pageant the following day, looking totally smitten with each other.
And it seems like Lindsay has been welcomed with open arms into the royal fold. She reportedly joined Peter at the joint christening of Lucas Tindall, Zara's son with husband Mike Tindall, and August Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie 's son with husband Jack Brooksbank, in November 2021.
Lindsay even had the honor of meeting Queen Elizabeth herself after a shooting party at Windsor Castle. Peter and his sister Zara have led somewhat normal lives despite being in line for the throne, though the reason they do not have royal status is down to an archaic rule.
The pair’s father, Mark Phillips, is not in the royal family, so have no title to inherit.
Reports indicate that it was actually Princess Anne's decision not to bestow royal titles upon her children. It seems she wanted them to have a more grounded upbringing, free from the pressures and expectations that come with royal status.
Former Buckingham Palace press secretary Dickie Arbiter said: “It was a masterstroke of the Princess Royal when she decided not to give her children titles.
“Growing up as a commoner allowed Zara to thrive as her own woman, and there has never been pressure on her to conform. She has benefited from it in all sorts of ways.”
