White chocolate is certainly a nice treat to have after your dinner.
Some might even choose it over milk and dark chocolate too.
However, there's something you should know about white chocolate, and it could blow your mind forever.
It's understandable to assume the treat contains chocolate – you know, because of the name – but that's where you're wrong.
White chocolate is technically classed as a chocolate confectionery, meaning it's not pure chocolate which doesn't contain any solids.
In fact, the food actually uses a blend of cocoa butter, sugar, milk products, vanilla and an emulsifier known as lecithin.
The food masterminds at Bon Appetit explained the difference between chocolate and white chocolate.
They said: "When cocoa beans are removed from their pods, fermented, dried, roasted, cracked open, and their shells discarded, what results is a nib.
"Chocolate nibs are ground into a paste called chocolate liquor.
"Chocolate liquor can be separated into cocoa solids which provide the flavour, and cocoa butter, which is the fat."

The experts went onto say the product must contain cocoa solids to qualify as chocolate.
And remember white chocolate only contains cocoa butter.
It didn't take long for people on Twitter to learn this new fact – which some branding the chocolate "a lie".
One said: "So white chocolate isn't actually chocolate? The world is a lie!"
Another added: "White chocolate is a lie. It shouldn't be called chocolate. Fight me."
A third commented: "My life is a lie because I thought that white chocolate was chocolate but it's not."
While a fourth raged: "White chocolate is the lie that broke my heart."
And a fifth wrote: "White chocolate isn't chocolate and anyone who picks white chocolate is living a lie."
