The best alcohol delivery services so you can enjoy a drink during lockdown

The UK is in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, which means that many of us will be spending most, if not all, of our time at home. The world as we know it has changed for the foreseeable and to be brutally honest, sometimes that means having a drink or two more than usual.

Aside from practical worries, many of us are also missing the social aspect of life; going to bars or restaurants to have a good old natter with friends.

Although, this isn’t possible at the moment we can still do our best to replicate it by chatting with friends on Zoom or house party, or just ringing our mums for a catch up. It’s so important because staying connected and looking out for one another is what will get us through.

But if we want to sip a tipple when socialising it can actually be quite tricky to get hold of the good stuff. What with lengthy supermarket queues and long waiting times for online orders, its not uncommon to find ourselves scrambling through cupboards just to end up toasting in Saturday night with a lacklustre cup of fruit squash.

However, although it may seem like a nice drink is an essential, it probably isn’t worth risking a trip to the shops just because you have run dry.

But you shouldn't despair because, thankfully, there is a whole host of alcohol delivery sites that will deliver your favourite tipple straight to your door. Hallelujah!
