A super organised mum has shared the Sunday routine she performs every week at home in order to ensure she is ready and stress-free coming Monday morning.

Steph Pase, 30, from Sydney, said she does a series of chores every weekend, including re-stocking the washing powder jars, writing down the meals her family will eat that week and folding all of her children’s clothes.

‘This is my Sunday routine,’ the mum-of-two posted on TikTok.

In the clip, Steph revealed she starts by refilling the toilet paper drawer in her bathroom, which has usually run out by the end of the week.

She follows this by replacing washing powder in the jar in her laundry.

Steph likes writing down everything her family will eat for dinner that week on a whiteboard in the kitchen.

This particular week, she is having Mexican taco boats on Monday, chicken and veg on Tuesday and sweet potato curry on Wednesday.

She also hangs up and folds all of her children’s clothes so they are ready for the week ahead.

The ‘Sunday night reset’ isn’t just about chores, as Steph also finds the time for a little self-care.

Typically, she will shower and wash her hair on Sunday night, before slipping on an eye mask, lighting a candle and relaxing with her kids and watching a movie for an hour.

Finally, she replaces dishwasher tablets and coffee pods in their holders, and sorts her fruit and veg for the week – before making dinner.

‘Love this Steph! I can’t believe how much of a difference a Sunday night reset makes to my family and my anxiety,’ another added.

These include setting a weekly cleaning schedule, meal prepping as much as possible, planning all your meals and using your slow cooker to make sure breakfast is cooking from the morning.

Steph also said she loves to schedule a load of washing for first thing, so that it’s done by the time she wakes up and she can hang it out.

Functional and organised spaces will save you a lot of time over the long run, and Steph said she puts everything in its own container and then labels items with a label from Little Label Co. 

Some of her tubs include ‘Kids’ snacks’, ‘Easy Meal Kits’ and ‘Cans’.

Finally, the mum said she always gets up an hour before the kids, so she can get organised.

Even if it’s not an hour, Steph said she likes to rise before Willow and Harper, so she can make her kids’ breakfast, answer any urgent emails and hang up the washing.

‘I find being semi-ready before the kids are up makes the mornings run a lot more smoothly,’ she said.
