Spoilers: Hendrix mistake spells disaster for Brent in Neighbours

Brent (Texas Watterson ) is desperate for a fresh start in Neighbours, but it’ll be a tall order with Hendrix (Benny Turland) baying for his blood.

He’s made an enemy of Hendrix at a time when Hendrix has nothing else to focus on and has nothing else to lose, so this really could be a tricky situation. And it’s all come about because Brent made friends with Harlow (Jemma Donovan).

Hendrix is finding it hard to accept his relationship is over, and knowing that Harlow has forgiven Brent but not him just boils his blood. He tries to win Harlow back with a romantic gesture, but it goes disastrously wrong and he’s left wishing he hadn’t bothered.

Like a bear with a sore head, Hendrix decides the best thing to do is steer clear of Brent at school, but Brent does not have the same idea. Instead, he baits the bear and waits for him to explode. Of course he does, and Brent is on the receiving end of his full fury. This of course gets back to Harlow who is even more disappointed in her ex’s behaviour. She decides to take the time to teach Hendrix a little humility, letting him in on what Brent has had to suffer growing up. She prays it’ll help him empathise.

It’s wishful thinking. Brent is geared up to give school another go, but Hendrix gets him in huge trouble on his very first day. While that would be bad enough, Hendrix – accidentally this time – goes one step further that could ruin Brent’s new life. During a mishap, Hendrix accidentally sends Brent’s confidential records to the whole school.

Hendrix is mortified, he never meant for this to happen, but it’s too late. As the news spreads, it looks like Brent is in for a very rough ride. Will he cut and run again? A guilty Hendrix confesses to Jane and Susan, but is it way too late?

Scenes air from Monday 8th March on Channel 5.
