Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Will Be Regulars on Red Carpets Expert Says

When Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex announced they were stepping down as senior members of the British royal family, no one expected the couple to end up in Los Angeles, California. The duo had spent several weeks on Vancouver Island in Canada, and it seemed like an ideal place for them to live and thrive away from the prying eyes of the public.

However, Vancouver Island is certainly far removed from any of the projects the Sussexes want to sink their teeth in. Since the pair want to become totally independent of the royal family, they are going to need quite a bit of money to fund their lifestyle.

Thus far, the duchess has narrated a documentary called Elephant on Disney+ and Prince Harry will appear on a special episode of Thomas the Tank Engine, which will air on Netflix. In fact, with their powerhouse Hollywood team behind them, one royal expert expects the Sussexes will be regulars on red carpets.

This evening, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the annual #WellChildAwards in London. WellChild aims to ensure every child and young person living with serious health needs has the best chance to thrive with the support and medical care needed in the comfort of their own home. The Duke of Sussex became Patron of WellChild in 2007, and last year both The Duke and Duchess attended the awards to honour the children and families that WellChild supports. The Duke, who first came to these awards over a decade ago, shared in his remarks tonight: “Last year when my wife and I attended we knew we were expecting our first child – no one else did at the time, but we did – and I remember squeezing Meghan’s hand so tightly during the awards, both of us thinking what it would be like to be parents one day, and more so, what it would be like to do everything we could to protect and help our child should they be born with immediate challenges or become unwell over time.  And now, as parents, being here and speaking to all of you pulls at my heart strings in a way I could have never understood until I had a child of my own.” • To find out more about tonight’s event and how you can support this very special organisation, please visit @WellChild Photos ©️ PA images

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are launching a new brand and publishing a tell-all book

Though they are in isolation like the rest of us, Harry and Meghan already have a ton of projects up their sleeves. Their main endeavor is their new Archewell brand which is set to launch when things begin going back to normal. The pair have already shared their inspiration behind the brand.

“Before SussexRoyal, came the idea of ‘Arche’—the Greek word meaning ‘source of action,’” the Sussexes shared in a statement. “We connected to this concept for the charitable organization we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name. To do something of meaning, to do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon.”

Additionally, the couple has paired with journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand for the book, Thoroughly Modern Royals: The Real World of Meghan and Harry which is set to be released in August 2020.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will merge royal with celebrity

Though they don’t want to be labeled as celebrities, living in LA will certainly thrust the Sussexes in that category. In order to remain relevant, they will have to form solid relationships in Hollywood and with the U.S. press.

“The Meghan and Harry brand has always been very disruptive,”  Jeetendra Sehdev the author of The Kim Kardashian Principe told The Guardian. “They’re going to show us all a different way in which royal family members can live. The closest comparison to Meghan and Harry will be the Obamas and what they’re actually doing, I mean they’ve created an entertainment entity where they’re producing documentaries and I think that will be a similar route that Meghan and Harry can certainly take. Letting people into who they are – because at the moment we don’t really know who Meghan and Harry are. We just know that they’re part of the royal family.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be familiar faces on red carpets

In order to make their mark and remain relevant, as Hollywood opens again, we can expect to see the Sussexes on red carpets. This will help them foster connections and continue to snap up opportunities.

“I think we’ll see Meghan back in acting in terms of major motion films,” royal expert Myka Meier explained on the Royally Obsessed podcast. “I think she’ll be choosey of course but I think we’ll see a lot of them. I also think that we’re going to see a lot of red carpets. As soon as there are red carpets again, I genuinely think they will be on every major red carpet.”
