A mum has been slammed after she filmed herself spraying her young daughter with water and laughing.
Courtney Hauman posted the video to her TikTok account @mommyandkolbie yesterday (September 29) and it has already been seen more than 165,000 times.
Auntie Hammy’s track Pew Pew Pew plays in the background as she lifts up the hose in front of her toddler.
As the chorus plays, Courtney then repeatedly sprays the youngster in the face with water.
She then turns to the camera and starts laughing before proceeding to do the same thing again.
In the caption, Courtney wrote: “For all the people who said I was a bad mum. We’re back.” She also added laughing emojis into the message.
It is not clear what the message refers to but another video posted to her account in August, seen nearly half a million times, shows her doing the same thing.
Viewers flooded the comments section to voice their outrage at the act.
“How is it funny?” one asked. “I’d hate having water sprayed in my face. She doesn’t understand why you’re doing that.”
Another commented: “Does it make you feel good spraying water in your daughter’s face using her for your TikTok entertainment? Sad world.”
A third added: “Yeah, I’m all about fun videos but this is not fun. Especially for her. Find something she laughs at, don’t confuse her.”
But a select few did defend Courtney’s actions.
“For everyone in here hating on this mum, what the hell?” one asked. “You realise we used to get thrown unwillingly into a pool/lake/river to learn how to swim.”
And the mum herself replied saying: “Exactly man.”
