Knicks rookie Immanuel Quickley saw his NBA debut end early Wednesday after suffering a hip pointer against the Pacers, the team announced.

The point guard appeared to hurt his hip while colliding with Indianapolis power forward Myles Turner in the second quarter.

Quickley shined during the preseason after he was selected with the 25th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, but began the season-opener off the bench in favor of veteran Elfrid Payton.

The 21-year-old had five points in 12 minutes. Quickley was one of three from the field and hit all three of his free throws, adding a rebound and assist.
