Love Island host Laura Whitmore is reportedly engaged to her boyfriend Iain Stirling, the Scottish comedian who does the show's voiceover commentary.
It is understood that Ian popped the question when the pair embarked on a romantic break in South Africa after filming the winter series of Love Island in Cape Town together at the beginning of the year.
The Irish presenter has been spotted wearing a stunning yellow diamond ring and it is understood that they broke the news to friends and family earlier this month that they will be getting married.

A friend of the couple told The Sun: “They couldn’t be happier. We’re thrilled for them. He’d obviously thought about it for a while, as he designed the ring and yellow’s her favourite colour.
“Their wedding plans are on hold due to the lockdown but it’s lovely to have a wedding to come.”
Here is all you need to know about the gorgeous husband and wife-to-be…
How did they meet?
The couple reportedly got together back in 2017 after meeting at an ITV party where they were both chatting with mutual friends. They were notoriously private about their relationship in the early stages and she would secretly go and visit him when he was working on Love Island.
The blonde bombshell told The Irish Independent ”We tried to keep it as quiet as possible at the start," she said. "I remember going to Majorca last year and not telling anyone, even though I know most of the crew.
"If anyone had seen me they'd be like, 'What the hell is Laura doing here? I thought nobody knew, but it turned out everyone did. At the time I was like, 'We totally got away with that'."
Do they live together?
The couple moved in to their North London love nest in December 2018 and seem to love nothing more than dressing up their house for different occasions.
On Halloween they went all out with autumnal leaves and pumpkins and over Christmas their door is adorned with a festive wreath and flanked by mini Christmas trees. It is not just the two of them that live in the impressive townhouse though, for they also share a home with a gorgeous Maltipoo dog called Mick who frequently features on their Instagram feeds.
Have they spoken out about marriage?
Although Laura has been spotted wearing a ring, the couple have yet to make an official statement about their engagement.
Last June Iain was grilled by Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain as to whether he would be putting a ring on his Irish girlfriend’s finger.
Piers asked: “You're on Love Island, but actually you're with the beautiful Laura Whitmore. A) How have you managed to do this? and B) when are you going to make an honest woman of her?"
Co-host Susanna Reid snapped back, saying: "So personal and unnecessary! It's not your business." But funnyman Iain managed to put him in his place by replying: "I mean, there's many people who would discuss personal matters with Piers, sadly I am not one of them."
Although Iain hasn’t spoken out on the matter has always seemed very committed to his presenter girlfriend. Back in October the pair went on holiday to America to travel from the east to the west cost.
The comedian posted a selfie to his Instagram of them on the road. He captioned it: "Last night I went to a winery in California and didn’t drink so I could drive Laura home afterwards.
"I am posting this picture in memory of the biggest sacrifice I will ever make for another person for the rest of my life."
We're sure they'll be very happy together!
