The family that sparkles together, stays together.
Heidi Klum’s daughter Leni, 17, made her red-carpet debut at a UNICEF benefit on Sunday, looking every bit her mom’s twin in a shimmering gown.
“This is my first red carpet,” the budding model admitted on Instagram Stories, before stepping out in Capri, Italy alongside mom Klum, 48, and her husband Tom Kaulitz, 31.
The teenager proved fashion runs in the family, donning a gold Versace gown with a cut-out back and plunging neckline.
Her mom coordinated with her own sparkling style, sporting a silver, one-shoulder Ellie Saab gown at the LuisaViaRoma for Unicef event.
The “Making the Cut” judge documented their night out with a series of Instagram snaps, including one her and Leni’s dirty feet, captioned, “Showing we had fun…without saying we had fun.”
This year has held many fashionable firsts for Leni, who seems well on her way to reaching supermodel status in her own right. She made her runway debut at Berlin Fashion Week in January, before covering Glamour Germany exactly 20 years after her mom.
While she initially kept her daughter out of the limelight, Heidi has been there every step of the way for her daughter’s modeling journey, even offering advice on navigating the industry.
“I said to her, ‘At the end of the day, you have to be happy with yourself,’” Klum told People in July. “And don’t do anything you don’t want to do. It’s okay to say no.”
The mother-daughter duo’s night out in Italy marks the latest stop on their European vacation. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel has been showing off her own modeling chops throughout the family getaway, posing both topless and in a teeny bikini.
