Gran, 81, fumes at cancelled holiday as she pines after 36-year-old toyboy

A British gran has been struggling without her toyboy during the pandemic.

Iris Jones, 81, from Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, admitted to feeling “skint and alone” without 36-year-old Mohamed Ahmed Ibriham.

She hasn’t seen him since November, when the pair got married in the younger man’s native Egypt.

Mohamed has been struggling to sort out his visa so the couple have been forced apart.

So to perk herself up, Iris had been looking forward to jetting off on holiday.

But according to the Mirror, she’s been left feeling more distressed as the trip has been cancelled and she’s yet to be refunded.

On Facebook, Iris said: “I have tried in vain to get a refund of £500 plus ever since (August).

“All I have been met with is a blank wall.

“I have written and emailed and phoned them, all to not avail.

“What a lousy way to treat customers. Such incompetence beggars belief!”

The gran hasn’t confirmed if the holiday was to see her young husband or not.

We do know Iris is really missing Mohamed though.

Previously, she revealed time apart was causing her “headaches and stress”.

The pensioner told Metro: “I get days when I’m all right and other days when I’m just crying all the time.

“I’m separated from someone I love, it’s so hard. I haven’t got time on my side, his lawyers know that.

“I’ve had to go over there three times and come back without him.”

Mohamed seems to be missing Iris just as much.

He's been posting loved-up messages on Facebook ever since they were separated.

The toyboy gushed: "Until the end of my life, my love for you, my dear, my sun and my moon, my queen Iris Mohamdy".

Here's hoping the pair will get to be reunited very soon!
