Coronation Street star Sally Carman has been supported by her co-stars as she takes on a new job away from the cobble.

The actress is best known for playing Abi Franklin on the soap ITV – making her debut back in 2017. Since then, Abi has been involved in several big storylines, from drug abuse to the tragic death of her son Seb.

However last month, Sally revealed to fans her major new career move – confirming she bagged a position of director for an exciting new stage production. And last Saturday (September 30) she gave fans a sneak peek at the project, as she showed off her off-camera skills.

While Glenda Shuttleworth star Jodie Prenger commented a slew of clapping hands emojis. Fans also shared their support, with one writing: “This is great Sally. I really hope you will enjoy your new project.”
