Tommy Fury posted a snap of him wearing Aldi’s new range of casualwear which launches on Sunday. The Love Island star wore a grey hoodie with a large multicoloured Aldi logo printed on the front. The 21-year-old boxer captioned the post: “Not @AldiUK pulling through with the fresh garms?!! Dropping Sunday 25…”
Fans were taken aback by Tommy’s outfit choice, which is a change from the designer brands he is usually seen in. The grey hoodie is priced at £14.99 and is available in sizes small to XXL.
One joked: “Roll on the Cuthbert the Caterpillar garms!” Another said: “How much did you get paid? [laughing emoji]”
A third unimpressed user said: “I would rather wear a brown cardigan knitted by a blind granny.”
A fourth replied: “Three weeks late for April fools!”
Aldi’s new Spring/Summer 2021 range, Aldimania, is part of this week’s SpecialBuy selection available to pre-order on Sunday, April 25.
The range will hit UK stores on April 29. It includes hoodies, pyjama sets, socks and underwear all adorned with the chain’s bold logo and prices ranging from £1.49 to £14.99.
It is the first time Aldi has launched its own clothing. Specialbuys often prove to be a hit amongst customers but many have been left “confused” over the latest launch.
Aldi said: “Soon you’ll be able to wear the Aldi logo loud and proud. We’re talking unisex hoodies, hipsters, pyjamas and socks.

“But you’ll need to be quick. Because as with all Specialbuys – once they’re gone, they’re gone. And trust us, these will go!”
Divided Aldi shoppers took to social media to share their thoughts. One person said: “Why would anyone want to wear an item with a supermarket brand emblazoned across their chest?”
Another said: “These are so uncool, how strange.”
A third wrote: “I am so confused, it looks like a uniform.”
Others were less critical of the Aldimania line and expressed that they would be heading to store next week ahead of the launch. One person commented: “So tempting, looks kind of cool.”
