Not everyone finds cooking an easy task.
While some throw tasty dinners together with skill, others have to learn the rules of timing, chopping and seasoning later in life.
Writer Gianmarco Soresi is one such person who recently took to Twitter to share his efforts at whipping up a feast.
Unfortunately, more seasoned cooks mocked the bloke when they spotted a glaring mistake in his dish.
The post went viral, and Gianmarco was so roundly chastised that he may be put off cooking forever.

They also felt aghast at the messy way the pepper was sliced and the filthy hob.
Gianmarco sarcastically wrote: "Learning to cook is going great."
A massive 1.7k people liked the post and another 1k retweeted it.
One person commented: “Did you tear the pepper with your bare hands?”
Another joked: “You think the sticker adds flavour or something?”
“This is the worst thing an Italian has ever done,” exclaimed a poster.
And another angry Italian added: "Giancmarco Sorsesi, on behalf of the Italian American community, I am temporarily revoking your Italian card."

A woman replied: “They also cook at different rates and temperatures when they aren’t all the same size.
“Easier to cook the chicken if it’s smaller (in my opinion) and that you know it’s all cooked throughly!”
While a more patient poster said: “I'm just here to say stickers are edible, or I'm going to die any day, now lol.
"Also, learning to cook is a process with a lot in trial and error the important part is that you're trying!"
After his tweet went viral, Gianmarco simply replied: “Thank you to everyone pointing out the sticker, but it is too late.”
