Most kids dress up in their parents’ suits, shoes or makeup to feel more mature, but 5-year-old George Moore isn’t most kids.
George and his similarly-mischievous older brother Harry, 7, from Slade Green in London, were watching British series “You’ve Been Framed!” — which airs funny home videos sent by viewers — when George decided he wanted to look more distinguished.
So he grabbed a pair of electric clippers belonging to his dad, Kevin Moore, and brought them to Harry, asking if he would help cut his hair in the style of an “old man,” he said.
Kevin, 38, told SWNS, “I’d left my clippers on charge upstairs and the boys obviously found them.
“They both came down and they were laughing so much,” he continued. “I looked over and saw this massive bald patch on top of George’s head.”
They had only just gotten started when dad caught his sons in the act. The boy had asked his older brother to shave only the crown of his head, sporting a look of advanced male pattern baldness.
That’s when Kevin, who runs a flooring company, decided to step in and finish the job.
“My missus, Rebekah, had to go to work and I was left with George who was begging me to make him look like an ‘old man,’ ” he explained. “I didn’t know what he meant but ‘You’ve Been Framed’ was on the TV at the time and he pointed at an elderly gentleman on there with thinned hair on top and said he wanted that.”
By that point, Kevin knew he couldn’t leave his son with just a patch of hair missing.
“I found it so funny, but that’s what he wanted so I did the rest of his head for him with the clippers like he wanted,” he said. “The result has just been brilliant.”
Not to leave mom out of the fun, the trio called Rebekah, who reportedly cried with laughter.
“Neither of us can stop laughing, and we FaceTimed his mum at work and she was just crying with laughter on the phone,” said Kevin.
Thankfully, George was said to have no regrets with his new ‘do.
“George loves it,” said dad. “[It’s] exactly what he was after and he’s dead chuffed.”
