Tom Parker's wife Kelsey asked fans to "light a candle" in honour of her other half months before he tragically lost his cancer battle on 30 March.

The 32 year old had taken to her Instagram feed on 2 February to share a sweet photo of herself posing in a blue patterned shirt dress alongside her husband Tom, who donned a black ensemble, as they held their two children Aurelia, two, and Bodhi, one, in their arms.

The couple were all smiles for the snap as they were surrounded by an array of gold, nude and white balloons.

Over this, she wrote: "Calling all our amazing followers," with 11 stars emojis. "I would love for you all to get involved tonight and light a candle and say a prayer for my amazing husband @tomparkerofficial".

She continued: "It’s a new moon and supreme number 02.02.22 [stars emoji] it’s a powerful day to manifest with the universe. So let’s all heal Tom together."

Kelsey, who shared a beautiful love story with her husband as it was "love at first sight", then encouraged her 182,000 fans to gather at 6pm that night to light a candle and say the following out loud: "I let go of what no longer serves me for the highest good and in divine order.

"Thank you universe for all that I have, all that I am and all that I will ever be! May Tom Parker be strong of mind and body and completely cured and healed. May his body return to the best health and completely free from dis-ease.

"I call on angels, guides and ancestors to help support Tom in his healing journey and please awaken Tom’s heart and mind to give him the power, strength and healing that he needs on this journey to complete health. [praying hands emoji]

"May his family be adorned with the love and strength that they need to enable them to support Tom too. I am supporting Tom Parker with love and light! And surrounding him with joy and positivity.

She added: "I would love to see your pics and videos @seaspiritandstones," followed by a red heart emoji.

Tom sadly died on Wednesday 30 March and his wife announced the news on her Instagram as she wrote: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side.

"Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.

"We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I’m forever proud of you."
