Gather ’round fellow bored people who love conspiracy theories: Taylor Swift fans are out here convinced that she (or rather, her brother) secretly recorded a cover of “Look What You Made Me Do” and dropped it on Killing Eve as a way to get back at Scooter Braun. Confused? Allow me to unravel.
Last night, a new episode of Killing Eve aired that used a a mysterious cover of Tay’s hit “Look What You Made Me Do.” The cover in question is by Jack Leopards & The Dolphin Club, a band which…literally does not exist.
VERY STOKED about this cover of lwymmd on @KillingEve by Jack leopards & the dolphin club!! pic.twitter.com/fhkLfOssfm
And naturally, fans have found evidence that Taylor is behind the cover. For starters, her brother Austin Swift used to be called “The Dolphin Club” on Twitter:
So @austinswift7’s twitter name used to be The Dolphin Club- pic.twitter.com/h79PaVrNm5
That’s honestly enough to convince me, but there’s more: the song was produced by one Nils Sjoberg, aka Taylor’s alter-ego.
so this band doesnt exist past the look what you made me do cover and one of the producers is…NILS SJOBERG https://t.co/sk6ZGribrN
So, why would Taylor create a fake cover band for the Killing Eve soundtrack? Fans think this is basically a way to get around Scooter owning the rights to her masters, and that what we have here is Taylor quite literally being all look what you made me do.
Nils Sjoberg (Taylor’s songwriting pseudonym) is listed on the LWYMMD cover’s credit. She’s using the pseudonym again to get around her music being hijacked from her.

Taylor releasing a cover of her own song under a fake band name with her brother singing on it so that no coin goes into the pockets of Scott and Scooter! 👀👏

In conclusion: HER MIND.
