In the new Instagram picture, the ‘ATL’ actress shows his ‘authentic’ post-baby body in a blank tank top and gray sweatpants while holding his son Ace.
AceShowbiz –Malika Haqq is truly embracing her new role as a mother to newborn son Ace Flores. Two weeks after welcoming her first child with O.T. Genasis, the “ATL” actress garnered praises for getting real when sharing on social media her post-pregnancy photo.
On Saturday, March 28, the best friend of Khloe Kardashian posted an Instagram picture that captures her gazing lovingly at her baby boy whom she held securely in her arms. Letting her hair loose, she also showed off her post-baby body by wearing a black tank top and a pair of gray sweatpants. “Ace’n this thing called Mommy & Son #2weeks,” she captioned the snap.
Many have since flooded Malika’s post with positive comments. One fan said, “You’re a natural. Congrats once again!” Another wrote, “S**t that’s how my stomach looks now lmao. You look good girl.” A third praised her, “I love that you posted such an authentic 2 weeks post pregnancy pic, not a ‘SnapBack.’ Congratulations on a beautiful baby.”
Khloe has also shared her thought in the comment section. Calling her close pal “a great mommy!!!” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star added, “I absolutely love seeing you in this role.” Her mother Kris Jenner further chimed in, “You are the best mommy!!!!!”
Though earning praises for her latest post, the 37-year-old had been criticized over her post-pregnancy makeover plan. In late February, she posted a photo of her and celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond with a caption that read, “Stopped by just to see my fav @drjasondiamond and I’m fully book for my post pregnancy makeover. I can’t wait!”
The particular post quickly sparked speculations that the TV personality has planned to go under the knife before she even gave birth, and angered many of her followers. One stated, “Really…if you can’t accept the mark that came along with having a baby then you shouldn’t be a mom,” while another sarcastically commented, “Dang have the baby first. Why do females think they need to look amazing right after giving birth? Beyond me. Vanity, I guess.”
