Kate Middleton wowed the crowds in an eye-catching green dress as she attended Wimbledon today.

The Duchess wore her brunette locks in a bouncy blow dry and accessorised with a blue patterned face mask and diamond drop earrings.

Sitting alongside husband Prince William, Kate appeared in high spirits as she watched the match. Prince William looked equally as stylish in a powder blue suit and black tie.

The 39 year old royal has just come out of a ten day isolation stint after previously coming into contact with someone who had the coronavirus.

Isolation periods last for ten days after coming into contact with a Covid positive person – not from the date of notification.

The quarantine period prevented the Duchess from attending events like the NHS’ 73rd birthday with William at St Pauls Cathedral.

It is understood that the Kate has received her second vaccination jab, with it being just over five weeks since pictures were released of her getting the first at the Science Museum in London.

It's also understood that Kate will attend Wimbledon tomorrow on her own, with William expected to appear at the England football match instead.

Whilst Kate isolated at their home in Kensington Palace, fans were left confused as William was free to attend events.

According to the current guidelines, the royal wasn't obligated to quarantine as he wasn’t present when his wife came into contact with Covid.

Even though the couple is in close contact and shares the care of their three children, under current guidelines the Prince must only also quarantine if he begins to show symptoms.

The royals have been using lateral flow testing twice a week as part of their own regime with staff.

A spokesperson explained at the time: "Last week the Duchess of Cambridge came into contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for Covid-19.

"Her Royal Highness is not experiencing any symptoms, but is following all relevant government guidelines and is self-isolating at home."

Meanwhile, football fans have urged Prince William to bring "lucky mascot" Prince George to Wembley Stadium with him as he watches England take on Italy in the Euro 2020 final.
