Rio Ferdinand told fans that his son has broken his arm for the third time in the space of just eight short months.
The 41 year old took to his Instagram page to update his fans on how homeschooling is going while he, his children and his wife Kate Ferdinand isolate amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Joined by wife Kate, who recently said she's not a "regimented lunatic", the couple explained they've been trying to get the children Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and eight year Tia to do their homework while they're off from school.
Speaking to their joint 5.4 million followers, the couple said they have been doing workout sessions together to help exert their energy and stick to some form of routine.

Kate explained that her step-sons Lorenz and Tia were doing Joe Wicks' PE lesson in the morning while Tate went on the treadmill.
Rio then provided a quick clarification on why Tate wouldn't be joining the live session as he revealed his middle child has broken his arm.
He said: "We're doing it [workouts] with our boys because they're lunatics."
Kate then added: "Yeah, one of them's broken their arm…" before Rio explained: "Third break in eight months".
Swiftly brushing over the bombshell statement, he later said: "The most important thing is homework later!"
The mention of homework triggered a little row between the pair as Kate replied: "Rio's a bit strict," with the dad-of-three adding: "I have to be strict, so they know!"
The former TOWIE star then announced that actually she's "stricter" than him, but admitted that he's "the loud one" before mimicking his behaviour towards the children.
It comes as Kate recently wrote a touching tribute to mums "watching over us from heaven" on Mother's Day. Sunday marked the first Mother's Day since Kate married Rio, officially becoming step mum to Rio's three children with his late wife Rebecca Ellison.
Rio's ex-wife Rebecca tragically died from breast cancer at the age of 34 in 2015.
Kate shared the beautiful message on Instagram alongside a photo of herself and her own mother, Mary.
The gorgeous photo shows Kate wearing a bright green jumper tucked into a cream leather skirt, which she has teamed with a pair of white high heeled shoes.
Mary dons a white top with a black collar, and a black pair of leggings accompanied by black boots as she throws an arm around her daughter while they pose in front of a flower wall for the stunning snap.
