Former Little Mix turned solo sensation Jesy Nelson has reportedly parted ways with her boyfriend Zion Foster after the couple enjoyed a whirlwind nine month long romance together.
The 32 year old singer first began dating Zion late last year, after the couple found a shared love of music, given Zion’s own rising career as a musician.
However, despite going strong for the best part of a year, the couple are now said to have split, with a source close to Zion claiming that he was the one to pull the plug on their blossoming romance after a loved-up trip to the USA.
“It’s hard to make sense of it right now because they appeared to be so loved-up,” a source told The Sun.
Although neither Jesy nor Zion have publicly confirmed the split, Zion has added fuel to the fire, after he unfollowed Jesy on social media and deleted all of the photos that documented their time together from his Instagram page.
OK! has reached out to Jesy’s representatives for comment.
Jesy, who is currently taking a break from social media, last shared a snap online with Zion on 16 June, when she sweetly captioned the image: “Down to ride to the very end.”
The photo was taken at the end of the couple’s loved-up trip to the Hamptons, where they had spent several weeks together enjoying the high life among the company of some of New York’s most affluent residents.
Five days after the trip, Jesy revealed she was stepping away from social media to “see the world” after working intensely on her debut solo album.
She told her fans: “For a long time I’ve really wanted to go travelling but never had the time to do it. I’ve got some really exciting things coming up with work and my music – but until then I’m gonna take the summer off to travel the world."
Jesy then added: “I’m going to be off my social media for a while. I love you all so much and I’ll see you when I’m back.”
It is currently unknown whether the split and Jesy’s social media break are connected.
Jesy and Zion first went public with their romance in January 2023, when they were spotted out shopping together after weeks of brushing off rumours of a budding romance.
Zion, who hails from London, is known for tracks such as Bad and My Story, whilst Jesy has been carving out a solo career since leaving Little Mix, enjoying success with her first breakout single Boyz, featuring Nicki Minaj, which peaked at No. 4 in the UK charts.
