Jennifer Lopez is ready to reunite the world.
The 51-year-old singer and actress is one of the many celebrities who participated in Global Citizen’s VAX LIVE: A Concert to Reunite the World event, which was filmed earlier this week and will air around the world this weekend. Lopez is joined by Selena Gomez, who will host the broadcast, as well as Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, and H.E.R., who are all slated to perform in the concert, which aims to increase awareness about the COVID-19 vaccine and encourage people to get vaccinated.
On Friday, Lopez shared a sneak peek at her performance on Instagram.
“This a new generation of people,” Lopez said in the video, which included footage of her rehearsing for VAX LIVE. “We’re going to accept each other, understand each other, be more loving, be more inclusive. And that’s what this pandemic has taught us. That night is about everybody getting the vaccine so we can come back together. It’s about reuniting the world.”
