Jasika Nicole, who played Dr. Carly Lever, is also exiting The Good Doctor.

Showrunners confirmed Jasika‘s exit to TVLine, who was last seen on the show over a month ago opposite Freddie Highmore.

“I would love to have her back here and there,” executive producer David Shore shared. “I love Jasika, and would love to see her on the show, but it will not be in the same capacity.”

Jasika‘s exit is the second big announcement from the season finale of the ABC show.

Earlier in the night, fans were shocked and angered to see that Nicholas Gonzalez‘s character, Dr. Neil Melendez, would not be returning either as he was killed off.
