Janette Manrara, 37, has filmed herself looking rather windswept behind the scenes of her Morning Live segment, as she took to the streets of Lower Marsh, London, to interview members of the public. However the Strictly Come Dancing professional suffered difficulties, when it transpired there were no people out shopping for her to question about the clocks going forward on Sunday.
There’s no one to talk to
Janette was seen battling the blustery weather in the capital, while attempting to interview shoppers for the BBC show co-hosted by Gethin Jones.
The dancer looked smart in a camel coloured coat that was layered on top of a bulky grey jumper.
Her make-up appeared flawlessly applied and was paired with straightened hair, as she prepared to battle the windy conditions.
Janette said in view of her 434,000 followers: “Hi team, first and foremost very excited to be back on the Strictly team, more on that later.”
She then panned the camera around to show the cameramen setting up in the middle of Lower Marsh’s high street.
“Filming with these guys today, Morning Live, but there’s no one in the road to talk to,” she added feigning exasperation.
“If you are in Lower Marsh, come and say hi, we want to get your opinion on the clocks changing.”
The clocks are due to go forward an hour this weekend, as summer officially begins to get underway in the UK.
Janette has been presenting for Morning Live since the beginning of February and has gone down a storm with viewers.
Many on Twitter wrote how “amazing” she was on the show.
Janette has been stepping in for regular presenter Kym Marsh, who is recovering from a hernia operation.
Her husband Aljaz Skorjanec was particularly proud of her new role, as he took to Instagram to share screenshots from the show.
