“I want to thank you for bringing me and partner together. We met at foo fighters concerts at lolla 2011, dancing in the midsts of mud and rain, sharing an intimate moment only to separate and meet again 8 years later by fate, locking eyes remembering a distant time. I’ll always be grateful to the foo fighters for constantly reminding me how music connects spirits for only one shared moment or a lifetime of shared moment. Please play at Redrocks in Colorado, So we can dance in the sun, mud & s,” wrote one anonymous user.
“Don’t know where I’d be without you. I grew up listening to you guys and have been one of my biggest inspirations and bands I always find myself coming back to. You guys were my first concert. Long live the Highest Paid Cover Band in the World,” wrote Joseph Patella from Washington.
“There wouldn’t be 25 years of Foo Fighters without YOU – the People of Rock and Roll!!!” the group’s announcement on Twitter reads. “Thank you for sharing your stories and being a part of the journey.”
