Deborah, 39, yesterday admitted that after a fun-packed morning attending her children’s sports day, she had even more exciting plans in the evening.

The BBC broadcaster ventured out to her “favourite” circus, admitting that they never fail to “make her smile”.

Now, as the UK embraces The Championships at Wimbledon, Deborah wasn’t letting her diagnosis or treatment hold her back.

Making the most of the stunning weather, Deborah revealed that she was heading to the tournament today.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the star shared a stunning selfie as she posed in her bedroom mirror, showcasing her outfit.

Wearing a red polka dot dress that finished just above her knee, Deborah looked sensational as she happily snapped away.

The eye-catching dress was tucked in at the waist, secured by a neat belt, and featured a flared hem.

Deborah wore her brunette tresses in loose natural waves that rested on her shoulder, as she offered a pout towards the camera.

She opted for a smokey eye makeup look and a touch of blusher on her cheeks, while her plump pout was neatly decorated with a touch of lipgloss.

Wearing a statement straw hat, Deborah ensured that all eyes would be on her as she completed her look with a pair of comfortable shoes.

Captioning her snap, she penned: “Slept all morning to refuel!

“For now, I’m Wimbledon ready! Again! OK if you are new to following me – all you need to know is that I’m Wimbledon obsessed and go as much as I can! Today — with my dad!”

Deborah was first diagnosed with incurable bowel cancer back in 2016 and has continued to undergo treatment.

During this time, she has described her husband and father of her two children, Hugo, 13, and Eloise, 11, as being her “rock”.

Before her diagnosis, she was an ambitious deputy headteacher who’d been brought in to turn around a failing comprehensive in Surrey.

It meant she and her banker spouse were usually stressed and barely saw each other.

The mum-of-two is currently undergoing chemotherapy once again, after having a stent fitted to ensure she is able to have the treatment.

On Instagram, she explained how her drugs had stopped working and her liver had begun to fail.

She typed last week: “To cut a long story short, my drugs have stopped working and my liver is failing. But I’ve been given hope. Today I had a stent fitted to my bile duct, in order to hope that my liver can function again And that I can then have more chemo.

“I was transferred via ambulance from the @royalmarsden to St Helier Hospital to have the procedure by a team of awesome doctors, who managed to get it in how they wanted, and now we just need my liver to play ball!”
