The King's Coronation brought its fair share of awkward moments… including when Katy Perry awkwardly struggled to find her seat in Westminster Abbey.
The I Kissed A Girl singer, Katy, 38 who is headlining the Coronation concert on Sunday looked elegant as she wore a lilac outfit by late fashion designer Vivienne Westwood.
She completed the look with a matching large netted hat, gloves and a statement pearl choker to attend the historic event.
But when inside Westminster Abbey it looked as though the singer was struggling to see from under her enormous hat as she awkwardly looked for her seat amongst the star-studded guests.
A video caught the moment as Katy navigated her way around the abbey in an attempt to find the correct seat while reportedly asking guests "Is that seat free?".
Viewers were quick to comment on the entertaining moment with one writing: "You couldn't find your seat because of your giant hat".
Another referenced one of her hit pop songs and said: "The seat must have been playing hide and seek as for the most part you were cold but eventually you were hot…".
"She can't see over her bl**dy hat" another wrote.
Katy responded to the reactions in a witty tweet and wrote: "Don’t worry guys, I found my seat."
The lost seat was the only blip for the singer at the Coronation as she also had a blunder when leaving Westminster Abbey.
Thanks to British weather on the day, the rain caught Katy off guard and she almost suffered an epic fall as she appeared to slip on the wet pavement.
Katy looked shocked as she tried to regain her balance in her white stiletto heels.
On Sunday, Katy will take to the stage during the Coronation concert with the likes of Take That, Lionel Richie and Zak Abel as well as including Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli and Welsh bass-baritone Sir Bryn Terfel.
The event will take place on the grounds of Windsor Castle, in front of a crowd of 20,000 members of the public and invited guests.
