AJ Pritchard has warned his fellow campmates that he can be a “control freak” and revealed what would rub him up the wrong way during his time on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The professional dancer, who made his name on Strictly Come Dancing, headed into the camp in Gwrych castle at the weekend.

But before he made his way to the Welsh countryside to join the fellow contestants, OK! caught up with AJ and his former Love Island star brother Curtis to chat about what we can expect from the star on the show.

And in the revealing chat, AJ and his brother – who gave OK! an exclusive tour of their stylish home – warned us that there would be a few things that would wind the star up.

When asked whether AJ would rub anyone up the wrong way, Curtis admitted: “Normally I’d say no, but AJ can sometimes be stuck in his own ways and it’s a different scenario in that castle, isn’t it?

“No food, lack of sleep, cold weather – you could become snappy. I don’t think AJ will intentionally rub anyone up the wrong way but you never know in that environment.”

Elaborating more on what would make him see red in the camp, AJ admitted: “I like to do things my way and can be quite a control freak at times.

“I think when we’re in there we’ll quickly work out who likes to cook, who likes to clean, all those household chores… The only thing that’ll really annoy me is if someone is lazy and can’t be bothered to do anything or help out. That’s the only thing that would rub me up the wrong way.”

When Curtis added that his older brother would want people to pull their weight in trials, the former Strictly star joked: “You make me sound like I’m gonna rip someone’s head off, Curtis!”

AJ’s fellow contestants will have to watch out for his competitive side, but he’s not the only athlete entering the Welsh camp. Olympian Mo Farah and Paralympian Hollie Arnold have also made their way into the camp.

They’ll be joined by other celebrities including Vernon Kay, Victoria Derbyshire and ex-Eastenders actress Jessica Plummer.

Shortly before he was due to enter the camp, AJ’s time on the show was thrown into doubt when he reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus. However, a spokesperson for the star later confirmed he had tested negative and was able to enter the competition after all.

Speaking about his brother’s time on the show, dancer Curtis has said he doesn’t want AJ to have an easy ride. He admitted: “I want to see him cry, scream and throw up. I'm the worst brother ever."
