A Place in the Sun host Jasmine Harman took to social media yesterday to thank her hairdresser for sorting out her “crazy barnet”. The TV star showed off her new look online and informed her fans that she felt like a “new woman” following her trip to the salon.

The 44-year-old presenter unveiled the results of her makeover on Instagram by sharing a picture she had taken of herself in the hairdressers.

Her bob-length locks looked sleek and shiny in the picture as she posed beside her stylist with an obligatory face mask on.

Jasmine captioned her snap, which she shared with her 51,300 followers: “Thanks @saimooregreen & @jonathancox03 at @richardwardhair for sorting out my crazy barnet!”

“This is serious social distancing – we were the people in this section!” she continued, talking about the restrictions which are still in place because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“I feel like a new woman!” the mum-of-two remarked before going on to say: “Amazing what a trip to the hairdressers can do!”

After leaving the salon, Jasmine got out her phone and spoke directly to her followers as she walked home along the street.

The popular television personality informed her followers that she had got her “hair mojo” back after struggling with her tresses during lockdown.

Jasmine also revealed that she had previously been worried about the effects ageing and having children was having on her hair.

On her Instagram story, Jasmine said: “So, I don’t know about you guys, but throughout lockdown my hair was a total mess because I didn’t have it coloured, didn’t have my roots done, didn’t have it styled, I didn’t have it cut at all.

“And although it looked a mess at the time, what I notice is that my hair is actually in much better condition from having had a bit of a rest,” she revealed.

The Channel 4 star continued: “I’ve just been to the hairdressers who said that my hair is so much thicker now than it was before lockdown, which is great cause I’ve been worrying about post-kids and getting old and all that, your hair gets thinner.

“I feel like I’ve got my hair mojo back,” she excitedly stated.

A Place in the Sun continues weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
