The real reason Bindi Irwin’s wedding was ruined

Fans of Bindi Irwin have watched the young wildlife conservationist grow up on television, so it was only logical that the former Jungle Girl and husband Chandler Powell would want to share their wedding day with the Crikey! It’s the Irwins audience. However, more than two months after the pair exchanged vows, Bindi posted her favorite photograph from that special day on Instagram and revealed that, despite their happy ending, the event was not what she’d dream of her whole life.

“This isn’t the fairytale image capturing the ‘perfect’ wedding day feeling. In fact, it’s quite the opposite,” Bindi wrote. “This picture was taken after we had to change our entire wedding.” Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bindi and Powell initially decided against guests “for everyone’s health and safety,” but Australia’s sudden lockdown measures also forced the couple to change their wedding date “the night before we got married.” Still, they “were determined to let love win.”

Yet, while local businesses helped Bindi and Powell bring their vision to life, the couple had to alter their plans once again when some uninvited guests arrived. “On our wedding day we were finally about to get married and the paparazzi flew over us in a helicopter scaring our wildlife,” she added. “We had to leave our stunning wedding venue on the African Savannah for their safety. I said goodbye to the place I had dreamed of getting married for so many years.”

Bindi and Powell, however, were determined to wed.

Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell 'watched love win' on their wedding day

As the helicopters began to swarm the airspace above the Australia Zoo, Bindi Irwin knew they couldn’t get married among the beloved animals as expected. “We had to entirely shift our wedding ceremony as we were about to get married,” Bindi told Entertainment Tonight in May 2020. “And I remember I was in my wedding dress and we found this beautiful, old — it’s like a barn where we filmed Crocodile Hunter and Bindi the Jungle Girl — and I went, ‘This is gonna work!'”

After that, the zoo’s crew helped them move inside. Bindi explained via Instagram, “I watched love win. I was there in my wedding dress, husband-to-be by my side, moving tables and flowers and trying to make our day finally become a reality… Sure, things weren’t perfect but that’s life. Life is messy and beautiful and meant to be felt. We were overcoming great obstacles to prove that unconditional love is the most important foundation.” While she admitted the wedding wasn’t quite what they planned, Bindi deemed it an “extraordinary starting point” for their marriage to “bloom.”

“We didn’t have any of the fancy frills or anything. And it’s great if you do when you get married,” Bindi told ET, “but for us it was about being together no matter what happened.” It’s clear that, together, these two can overcome any unforeseen obstacle that comes their way!

Chandler Powell's 'calming presence' soothed Bindi Irwin's 'crazy' nerves

Despite months of preparation, Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell’s wedding day wasn’t anything like what they’d planned. But, as Bindi told Entertainment Tonight, Powell’s “calming presence” soothed her when she felt like she was “going crazy” amid the chaos. It was at that moment that the photographer took the picture that Bindi posted on Instagram.

“At one point I sat on a chair in the corner doing my best not to think about how overwhelming things seemed. I missed the people who couldn’t be there, my dad, Chandler’s family, our dear friends, my family,” she recalled. “Chandler stopped what he was doing and sat next to me. I asked him to list me happy things. He proceeded to remind me that love ALWAYS wins.”

Bindi told ET she appreciates the photo, since it doesn’t even look like a wedding. “I love that so much because sometimes it is so hard to find happiness, and that’s why we have to have people who love us and support us around always,” she said. “During the hardest times in your life, those are the people that are gonna lift you up and remind you that the meaning of life is unconditional love.”

Bindi added that, although their nuptials were “the opposite of a normal,” it was their “perfect” day and “that’s the reality of life.” They’re right — love won that day.

Bindi Irwin kept her last name to honor her father Steve Irwin's memory

While it’s customary for brides to adopt the grooms’ last name after they say “I do,” Bindi Irwin chose to keep her notable moniker to honor her father, the late Steve Irwin.

“I think that for me personally, after dad [Steve] passed away it was really important for me to feel close to him, and having his last name means so much to me,” Bindi told Entertainment Tonight. Her husband Chandler Powell explained that, although they discussed her potential name change, both agreed she’s “an Irwin through and through” at the end of the day. “It has become a part of me. Everyone has their own ideas, but the nice thing is that it’s 2020 now, anything works!”

And while Bindi hinted that Powell could assume her surname, as he’s “become an Irwin now,” he’s just thankful that the Crocodile Hunter essentially brought them together. After all, Powell grew up watching Steve’s wildlife documentaries in his khakis at only 4 years old.

“[It] made me really fall in love with all forms of wildlife,” he told ET. “So in a way, he brought us together because when I came to Australia after watching his documentaries, I wanted to come visit Australia Zoo and that was when we met… if it weren’t for him, I don’t know how we would have met.” A love story for the ages!

'Vanderpump Rules': Jax Taylor's Texts 'Rattled Producers the Most This Year'

Max Boyens from Vanderpump Rules was on the receiving end of Jax Taylor’s rage texts, which left producers feeling a little shaken this season.

Boyens innocently wanted to bring the cast together for a beach cleanup and Taylor slammed him for it, calling the project “dumb and pointless” in a string of texts to Boyens. Producers admit this moment had them floored. “That was probably most baffling, since Max was genuinely trying to do a good deed,” producers shared, Bravo’s The Daily Dish reports. Adding, that the rage texts “rattled producers the most this year.”

The text messages came before Taylor and wife Brittany Cartwright were about to host a pool party. The party was an issue when Taylor became so angry with the cast he uninvited everyone. So Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix threw their own party, which further angered Taylor.

Taylor also blocked producers on social media

Taylor’s texts may not have been the only moment that had producers flummoxed. Shortly after Taylor sent Boyens a string of angry text messages, he blocked producers on social media.

“We’re just easy to blame when someone’s acting irrationally,” producers rationalized during a “behind the scenes” episode. “Jax has since refollowed all of us.” But producers admit that Taylor’s texts are truly entertaining. “They go on and on. He says the most ridiculous things.”

RELATED: ‘Vanderpump Rules’: Jax Taylor Blocked Producers After Learning About Tom Sandoval’s Pool Party

They added Taylor is “very transparent” with his feelings. And, “He says what’s on his mind and doesn’t beat around the bush.”

Producers added that Taylor likes to send (normal) text messages to Lala Kent on a regular basis too. “And they were super long texts,”  Kent said about the messages she received about the infamous pool party. “I couldn’t believe as grown people this was an issue.” Adding that she thought Sandoval’s move to have the party on the same day was “stupid.”

Taylor seemed to surprise producers the entire season

Taylor was a wildcard this season for producers as they speculated about how he was going handle his wedding and anger toward Sandoval. The production team shared that they hadn’t seen the friends so split since season 1. “It was similar to when people were split after Jax and Stassi broke up in Season 1,” producers shared, Bravo’s The Daily Dish reports.

But producers were surprised at the level of anger between Sandoval and Taylor. “They were both so upset and angry that they wouldn’t even face each other,” producers shared.

Even though there was a lot of anger, the crew didn’t think Taylor would actually kick Sandoval out of his wedding … until he actually did it. Producers were “flustered” when that occurred because filming was centered on the wedding in Kentucky and not a full week in L.A. Thankfully, Taylor reconsidered after receiving a long text from Sandoval.

Apparently Sandoval spent about 15 minutes crafting the text to Taylor. “He went off and sent it on his own,” producers dished.

The Vanderpump Rules reunion kicks off on Tuesday at 9/8c on Bravo.

BBC boss ‘receiving pitches’ for TV drama based on Dominic Cummings’ lockdown scandal – The Sun

BBC boss has been 'receiving pitches for a TV drama involving the bizarre lockdown scandal involving Dominic Cummings.

The Prime Minister's chief advisor flouted his boss's rules and drove 260 miles to Durham with his family, including his wife who had symptoms of the coronavirus.

The corporation are interested in adapting this story for a compelling TV series, which also included Cummings, 48, making a second 60-mile round trip to Barnard Castle on Easter Sunday, to check if he was well enough to drive after suffering problems with his eyesight relayed to covid-19.

The controller of BBC drama commissioning Piers Wenger, believes the controversial story would make for must-see viewing.

Asked if the BBC would produce a program highlighting Cummings' mishaps, he told The Radio Times: "In the right hands, yes."

He revealed the are desperate to pitch 'The Road to Barnard Castle: the Dominic Cummings Story' and with Emmy award-winning actor Benedict Cumberbatch starring as Dominic in Channel 4’s Brexit: the Uncivil War in 2019.

Despite the appetite for the drama, Wenger added it would be difficult to ‘make satisfying peak-time drama’ at time where actors have to keep their distance from each other.

He explained: ‘We don’t know how long wearing masks and social distancing are going to be part of our contemporary reality.

‘So if we rush into making them part of contemporary drama, it may look dated or odd when it airs in a year’s time.

However, the television executive acknowledged the reasons why people watched drama, adding: "They don’t necessarily want the cold hard reality of the world reflected back to them. That’s for news, documentary, and current affairs. On the whole, we’re watching drama for bigger moral and emotional stories."

While the BBC thinks it would make gripping television and have audiences around the country glued to the screen, the head of drama at their rivals ITV Polly Hill, thinks its still too fresh in our minds.

She argued: "I think it’s a bit soon. The best stories about this period will be told when we have a bit of distance."

The politician may well have been given a reprieve last week as Durham police said he may have committed a "minor" breach of lockdown rules, but no further action is needed.

The PM's top aide might have broken rules when he made a 50-mile trip to Barnard Castle, Durham cops confirmed, but he did stay socially distant from others.

After an investigation they said that they did not think that his original 260-mile trip to Durham had broken the coronavirus laws.

Piers Morgan in furious row with MP Tobias Ellwood on GMB over Government sex ban amid new lockdown rules – The Sun

PIERS Morgan engaged in a furious row with Tory MP Tobias Ellwood over the Government's new lockdown sex ban on today's Good Morning Britain.

The outspoken journalist and his co-star Susanna Reid called the move "a massive state intrusion into people’s private lives."

⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates

It comes a day after the Government rolled out lockdown guidelines that include the clause that completely bans two people from separate households gathering in a private place.

Piers kicked off the clash by asking Mr Ellwood via videolink: "why are you banning sex?"

The politician initially refused to comment, telling Piers he was not aware of the story and urged him to move on.

Refusing to take no for an answer, Piers snapped: "I've just read it to you."

Growing increasingly frustrated, Mr Ellwood sniped it was another example of why his party was boycotting the show.

After being pressed further by the Daily Mail's Andrew Pierce, Mr Ellwood finally admitted that it sounded "ridiculous".

He said: "On the face of it, it does sound ridiculous, but you don't respect the fact that if I've not read into the story…"

Piers shouted: "You've just answered the question that I asked you 10 minutes ago. The reason you didn't want to answer is because you hadn't read the story, which I read to you four times.

"I don't know what more I can do to help you."

The frustrated MP replied: "Piers you want your wow moment."

To which Piers countered: "I would like the programme to be as news-breaking as it can possibly be."

Later in the chat, the pair went toe to toe again after Mr Ellwood quipped it was good to finally speak about something he was meant to when asked about Chinese phone company Huawei.

It irritated Piers, who fumed: "One of the reasons I got so angry with your cabinet ministers was for a lack of preparation. Your fury was another failure of you to prepare."

Mr Ellwood sniped: "You do what you do so well, talk a lot and not allow your guests to reply."

The ill-tempered exchange followed a mini Twitter spat between the pair.

Yesterday Piers tweeted accusing Conservative MPs of avoiding the show.

He wrote: "We can’t get a single Tory MP to come on @GMB tomorrow to defend their Government."

However, Mr Ellwood responded: "Slightly unfair – I agreed to come on @GMB tomorrow and you denied me! Piers – let’s keep it real."

And they began their chat today by bickering about the Bournemouth East MPs booking.

As of yesterday sex in your own home with a person from another household became illegal, but the police aren't able to barge in.

The Government has rolled out new lockdown guidelines which include the clause that completely bans two people from separate households gathering in a private place.

New lockdown rules introduced in the latest amendment to The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020 bill were presented to parliament yesterday.

It detailed the measures which have eased, such as being able to meet up in groups of six for a BBQ and conditions for elite athletes to return to sport.

Buried in the document is a new regulation which explicitly bans meeting up with anyone from outside your household in your own home.

It reads: "No person may participate in a gathering which takes place in a public or private place indoors, and consists of two or more persons.

"There is a gathering when two or more people are present together in the same place in order to engage in any form of social interaction with each other, or to undertake any other activity with each other."

Brought in to help support the new rules about friends and family having to meet up outside, the clause puts a categorical legal end to lockdown sex with others from outside your home.

Previous regulations did not include the wording about private places as travel restrictions categorically urged people to stay in their homes except for food shopping and exercise.

People caught travelling without a reasonable excuse could be prosecuted, but the wording did not include what happened when you were in another home.

Now both people will technically be able to be prosecuted under the coronavirus regulations as both have committed an offence by having a two person gathering from separate households – in a private place.

Public sex is already illegal for any couples hopeful of a workaround to see their lover.

Bemused Brits have been flooding social media with memes as lockdown changes became law.

Only people with a "reasonable excuse" are allowed to gather in a private place.

People looking for a romp are not included in the guidelines, which covers elite athletes, people attending funerals, vulnerable people and workers.

It also allows people to gather in a private place for childcare, for separated parents to see their children, to provide emergency assistance and to allow someone to avoid harm.

The regulations define a gathering as when "two or more people are present together in the same place in order to engage in any form of social interaction with each other, or to undertake any other activity with each other".

So sadly, sex in your home with a lover you don't live with will for now be illegal in Britain.

However, this afternoon No10 said it was unlikely that Brits will be targeted for their crimes.

Downing Street confirmed that the police do not have the powers to storm into anyone's home – unless they suspect "serious criminal activity" is taking place.

A spokesperson said this lunchtime: "The police will do as they have done since the beginning of the health regulations being in place. They will be exercising their common sense and engaging with the public and only issuing fixed penalty notices when they believe it’s a last resort."

Police forces will be able to use their discretion.

But they won't be able to barge into peoples homes.

"You’re wrong there in the sense that police don’t have powers to enter people’s homes under the regulations," they spokesperson said.

"What they can do is enter homes where they suspect serious criminal activity is taking place under separate and existing laws."

It comes as the country is beginning to ease out of the lockdown which has dominated daily life since March.

Baby steps are being taken as some schools return today after Britain hit its lowest daily death toll since the start of lockdown.

Foreign secretary Dominic Raab has however warned that the lockdown will be tightened again if coronavirus looks set to return.

He said the government will “target [measures] very carefully” to stop an increase in cases as Downing Street bids to get the UK moving again.

His warning came as Brits planned BBQs and garden parties to celebrate the new easing of measures.

Meanwhile, crowds flocked to beaches over the weekend amid concerns that the lockdown is beginning to totally unravel despite the threat from Covid-19.

Under plans to  loosen the draconian measures enforced during the lockdown,  non-essential shops wil  reopen from June 15 as well as restaurants and pubs set to open next month.

Government scientists stand divided over how quickly to lift lockdown restrictions.

Professor Devid Sridhar said that a spike in cases was “inevitable” because restrictions were being lifted too fast.

Mr Raab defended the Government’s decision to ease restrictions, insisting “we can’t stay in lockdown forever”.

The Walking Dead theories: Fans uncover ‘real’ reason Rick Grimes hasn’t returned

The world of The Walking Dead is currently undergoing severe delays due to the continuing coronavirus lockdown. With a new spin-off and a trilogy of theatrically released films on the way, fans of AMC’s bloodthirsty zombie saga are convinced they know what exactly happened to the show’s original protagonist, Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln).

Never miss a royal update again by signing up to the Daily Express Royal Family newsletter

Rick Grimes famously kicked off the TV adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s original comic book run when he woke up from a coma to discover the world had been overrun with violent zombies.

One of the most long running characters on the acclaimed series, Rick Grimes’ story finally came to a mysterious end when he was taken away by a CRM helicopter in the middle of season nine.

Thankfully, Rick’s fate after the events of the mainline series is set to be explored in a trilogy of feature-length films, written by TWD veteran Scott M. Gimple.

Scott served as showrunner for the zombie epic for seasons four through eight, and primary director Greg Nicotero revealed the writer is currently penning the film scripts from home during the coronavirus lockdown.

  • The Walking Dead season 10: Danai Gurira reveals reason for leaving

As TWD enthusiasts eagerly await release dates for both the tenth season’s anticipated finale as well as Rick Grimes’ first cinematic outing, there have already been some intriguing theories circulating about the post-apocalyptic survivor’s currently unknown fate.

Some viewers took to Reddit to suggest Rick will begin the show still recovering from his brush with death in season nine.

Redditor newmannewlife1 posted: “What if one of the reasons Rick has been gone so long is because he got hurt really bad?

“After all, he was impaled by a rebar, lost a lot of blood as a result, and then got blasted off a bridge into a raging river below.”

In Rick’s penultimate appearance on the show he was bucked from his horse and fell directly onto a spear of rebar, which stabbed clean through his side, presumably narrowly missing his vital organs.

Thankfully, Rick survived long enough to be rescued by Anne (Pollyanna McIntosh), but there’s no guarantee he will have recovered from his wounds by the start of the first film.

Sources have already reported the film trilogy could have the feel of a grisly prison film, with Rick Grimes attempting to escape from a group of unhinged scientists.

Rumours suggest the trilogy will feature Rick escaping from a deranged faction of survivors trying to find a cure for zombification with human experimentation and torture.

However, fan theories propose the first film could also draw some inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s critically acclaimed Batman trilogy.

The Reddit post continued: “He could have been debilitated, maybe he temporarily couldn’t walk. I think it’s likely we’ll see a lot of that in the first movie, Dark Knight Rises style.”

During Christian Bale’s third outing as the Caped Crusader he begins the film still recovering from injuries, and suffers even more bodily harm during a vicious brawl with the mercenary Bane (Tom Hardy).

If speculation is to be believed, Rick Grimes’ arc in the upcoming trilogy could follow a similar trajectory as he works to build back his strength and eventually escape his imprisonment and rejoin his team.

'90 Day Fiancé': Babygirl Lisa Hamme Confirms That She and Usman Umar Split in Shady Instagram Post

It’s been a wild ride with Babygirl Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. It seemed like every episode of the show saw the two on the verge of a breakup. Though on the finale, viewers got to see Umar and Hamme’s wedding, it appears that the two are no longer happily in love. Hamme recently went on an Instagram Live rant and revealed that she and Umar are no longer together.

Lisa and Usman’s relationship

Hamme and Umar didn’t meet in the most natural way. They were connected by a friend and first met online.

“We met online,” Hamme said in an interview with Without a Crystal Ball. “We met through a mutual friend out of the UK. I knew her, she knew him, and he was looking for a female companion. And I just knew her reputation, I’m like, uh, I don’t know about this…but send him through my filtered messaging, and I’ll see what it’s about.”

When Hamme first met Umar, she was worried that he was trying to scam her, but she put those concerns on the backburner as she began to fall in love with him.

“I was 49 and Usman was 29 when we first met,” she continued. “And when we first met, I’ll be honest with you…I honestly thought, oh, great, another yahoo boy out of Nigeria that’s going to harass me to no end. And I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I don’t like that stigma.”

Throughout this season of the show, Umar and Hamme’s relationship was extremely rocky. Hamme was constantly jealous of the women who showed Umar attention. Though they argued during Hamme’s entire stay in Nigeria, the two still decided to get married.

Lisa and Umar claimed to be happy together

While the show was airing, a lot of things came out about Umar and Hamme. Hamme was recently accused of calling Umar the N-word. She admitted to doing it but claimed that she and Umar were able to move past that.

“It is said if you sin and you apologize and you pray for forgiveness, it is forgiven,” she said on Instagram Live. “So, my husband and I, it is a private manner between him and I. Because they are not going to drop it and it’s sad. Because the world needs to be united. We are human beings.”

And Umar recently confirmed that they were on good terms as well.

“You see her, we have resolved everything,” he said in a video. “Everything is OK now. Not going to have any problems anymore.”

The breakup

Now, Hamme is singing a different song. She recently revealed in an Instagram Live that she and Umar were done.

“He used me,” she said. “He married me just to be on a TV show that people would recognize his name to sell his music. I tried to work with him, his brothers tried to work with him. He thinks it’s just him, he thinks he’s going to do what he wants and he’s never going to apologize for anything he’s ever said bad about me. He’s posing as what you call a romance scam, which is very illegal in Nigeria. It puts that stigma back onto Nigeria again and that’s what I didn’t want to do.”

Umar denied these claims.

“SojaBoy is not a scammer and I’m very sure [he] is living [a] better life [than] Lisa,” a source told In Touch.

The action begins when Mark tells Maggie the family must move to Colorado for his new role at Space Force.

Meanwhile, Maggie is sent to jail for reasons undisclosed to the viewer.

A colourful team of scientists, astronauts and military staff work under Naird at the US military branch, as they hurry to put “boots on the moon” before rival countries.

At the end of season one, we saw China managing to colonise the moon before the US, claiming the Sea of Tranquillity. The tension between the two nations was at its peak.

Once the US got their team on the moon, the Secretary of Defence ordered them to destroy China's base and then accept their scientists as refugees.

'The Bachelor': Kelley Flanagan Edited Her 'Black Lives Matter' Statement After Getting Slammed by Fans

From coronavirus (COVID-19) to the death of George Floyd, America continues to be embroiled in tragedy. And many U.S. citizens are calling for action. Protests are being staged nationwide as a call for justice for Floyd, and a number of celebrities are also offering their money, support, and social media platforms to educate their followers on the issues of systemic racism in the country.

Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan are a seriously controversial Bachelor Nation couple. Weber created a “Black Lives Matter” post in solidarity with the protests — but Flanagan waited to create a post. Not only that, but her post included some opinions about looting that didn’t sit well with her followers, so she edited the post. Here’s what she said.

Kelley Flanagan and Peter Weber caused controversy with their relationship

Weber and Flanagan turned the Bachelor world upside down when they announced they were dating. Weber finished his season with a broken engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss. Then, on the reunion episode, he seemed to rekindle his flame with Madison Prewett — but that didn’t work out either. Then, just weeks later, it seemed he and Flanagan were seeing each other despite him eliminating her on the show.

So, how did these two reconnect? Weber said he ran into Flanagan in February 2020 during the Super Bowl and again in Los Angeles. After that, it seems the rest is history, as they rekindled the romance they had on-screen. Fans then noticed they appeared to be quarantining together during the coronavirus scare, and they finally made their relationship official via Instagram.

Weber added a ‘Black Lives Matter’ statement to his Instagram

RELATED: ‘Bachelor’ Fans Slam Peter Weber for ‘Tone Deaf Message’ on Instagram

Weber’s been adding plenty of content about Flanagan to his Instagram. But it seems he’s trying to use his fame and social media platforms for the better, as he’s now showing his support for the “Black Lives Matter” movement after Floyd’s death.

“In today’s day and age, it is so sad that racism is still an issue. What happened to George Floyd is unacceptable and anyone that was involved in taking his life needs to be held accountable. We need to do better,” he captioned his Instagram post. “I believe the best way we can honor George Floyd’s memory is through peaceful protesting to help create the change we need. I pray we can all come together in a trying time like this and not become more divided.”

It seems many other Bachelor Nation stars are in support of Weber’s post, too. Nick Viall commented back with a heart emoji, as did Demi Burnett’s ex, Kristian Haggerty. And Flanagan also posted a series of hearts.

Fans slammed Flanagan for her now-edited post

A post shared by Kelley Flanagan (@kelleyflanagan) on

Floyd died on May 25, and on May 28, Flanagan added a cute photo of her and Weber jet skiing. A follower commented, “what is your stance on #georgefloyd ? I seem to have missed the part where you used your privilege and platform to do the right thing and advocate to your followers about the RACIST and UNJUST things going on in this county.”

Flanagan acknowledged the criticism and explained why she waited to share her stance. She replied, “coming soon. Trying to figure out a way to word it best.”

It seems she delivered on her promise. Shortly after Weber’s statement, Flanagan shared a photo of hands holding signs with Floyd on them — but her caption missed the mark. She seemed to share some anti-looting sentiments, but after she was called out, she edited the post.

“Happy to know that you’re willing to learn,” a follower commented. “While looting is sad and i feel for the small biz owners, property and items can be replaced. Black lives cannot.”

To that, Flanagan responded, “thank you. I edited out the looting part because I hear your voices and understand your positions. In a perfect world, i am a proponent for peaceful protest, but I also understand it is not my position to say how a race that has faced such discrimination should grieve.”

We’re glad Flanagan is learning and attempting to use her platform to help black lives during this time.
