A DIY-SAVVY couple has wowed after renovating their dated bathroom for under $400.
The newlyweds, who post under the handle @riley.renovated on TikTok, have gradually been giving their first home a new lease of life.
The pair have garnered over 18,000 followers on the social media platform, where they document the budget improvements they are making to their house in Michigan.
They’ve inspired others to transform their homes without splurging on the cost of hiring a professional workman after revealing how they upgraded their bathroom.
The couple showed the aged wooden furniture and brown worktops with a silver faucet before overhauling the dark space with modern decor.
The text over the video read: “Our tiny bathroom needed a little facelift.
“We wanted a cheap way to get rid of all the darkness in such a small room.
“Without damaging for future buyers or ourselves when we want a change.
“Mission accomplished under $400.”
The duo used an electric sander to prepare the furniture before applying a smooth coat of succulent green paint.

They covered a wall behind the sink with white tile stickers from Amazon rather than investing in expensive ceramic tiles.
The couple also carefully applied replaceable marble effect vinyl over the brown worktop and replaced the silver metal finishes with sleek black.
A circular gold mirror from Target and a small plant in a basket were added to complete the look.
The room looked visibly brighter after adding more white and embraced the trendy luxury bathroom aesthetic.
They linked to a selection of items used for their DIY renovation in their bio.
The post was captioned: “Baby bathroom facelift under $400.”
