Cleaning fanatic reveals she MOPS the walls and doors with scented water to get her house smelling fresh

IF you light scented candles, burn incense or even bake cookies to get your home smelling fresh – it turns out there’s another way to do it.

A mum has revealed she mops her walls – and doors – to get her home super-clean, claiming it’s the best thing to banish germs.

The woman shared a clip to TikTok showing herself pouring scented cleaner into a bucket of warm water, before dunking a mop into the mixture.

She films herself scrubbing her skirting boards, doors and all her walls, saying: “Guys I love it.

“Don’t mop the floors just the walls and doors.”

But she clarified she doesn’t use her wall mop all over the house, explaining: “This mop is just for my walls. I have other mops for my floors, do not recommend sharing a mop with bathrooms by the way because germs.”

And she added she does it ‘every month’ to ‘kill germs’, as it also deep cleans the house which her kids are constantly messing up.

The mum added: “Would recommend if your house feels dusty or you have kids like me that just love to spill on everything.”

Her unusual cleaning routine has racked up thousands of comments – as fellow mums revealed they do the same thing.

One woman wrote: “Omg, I do this all the time and love it. It cuts out so much work."

Another commented: “I remember I did this and my family thought I was a fool."

A third said: “I clean this way thought it was just me but up get it girl."

This mum thought: “A woman after my own heart. I do the same."

While another added: “I just told my husband I was gonna try this!"

Just make sure you double check you won't ruin any paintwork in your house before scrubbing.
